MICRO BUSINESS

The micro-business group at Sangita presents a unique opportunity for women from several surrounding villages to learn a skill that empowers them to earn money that otherwise would not be possible. These funds are then used to better educate their children and often times allows these mothers to put more nutritious foods on their tables. It will be the education of the next generation that will stop the vicious cycle of poverty.
Prior to participating in the ongoing trainings, these women would typically never associate with women from a different village. The friendships that have been formed on the Sangita campus are now crossing the village borders, and are creating long lasting supportive friends.

One of the on-going businesses is a sewing and beading group. They create products that can be sold within their country as well as in the States.

When you support one of these life-giving projects, you build the spirit of a woman, bless her family nutritiously and through educating their youth you become a big part of stopping poverty. Come and join Sangita’s efforts in changing the lives of many simply by donating to the cause. To find out more, email us!
